After graduating, she worked for House Calls Physiotherapy, a mobile physiotherapy company in Saskatoon. There she worked primarily with home-bound geriatric, neurological and orthopedic clients. She plans to continue her postgraduate education, seeking training in pelvic floor physiotherapy as well as completing the orthopedic and manipulative therapy levels. Alexandra has always been passionate about health and fitness. She has been an avid water-skier since the age of six, and has competed in slalom events. Presently, she is focused on strength training and functional fitness. Her hobbies include all water sports, particularly slalom water skiing, cross training, cycling and golf.
Kevin (he/him) is a senior physical therapist with experience in all areas of physical therapy care. He is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and the Masters program in Physical Therapy at UBC. He has lived and worked in Powell River since 2011, and has built a loyal customer base who appreciate his tireless commitment to excellent, compassionate care. Kevin has a large knowledge base in manual therapy, exercise prescription and chronic pain management. He is a certified practitioner of dry needling, intramuscular therapy and Gunn IMS. He has also completed Best Practices in Concussion Management from Shift Concussion. He is the lead author of a study on knee osteoarthritis in the medical journal, Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Kevin is committed to ongoing professional education in a constantly evolving field to better serve his clients. Kevin enjoys all the activities that qathet has to offer, like rock climbing, trail running and hiking.
